Director of Photography

Sean McGing is a Director of Photography and acclaimed documentary filmmaker. He was the Director of Photography of the documentary series JERROD CARMICHAEL REALITY SHOW (HBO). His other projects as Director of Photography include the documentary series SMARTLESS: ON THE ROAD (HBO MAX) and THE FIGHT (Magnolia/HULU and Sundance Jury Award Winner), a feature film he also co-produced, and FOREVER ENDEAVOR. As a key member of Edgeline Films, he helped create, produce, edit, and shoot the acclaimed Showtime documentary series COUPLES THERAPY, now in its sixth season. He was co-producer, assistant editor, and additional cinematographer for WEINER (IFC/Showtime and Sundance Grand Jury Prize Winner). His other credits include many award winning shorts including DO NOT DUPLICATE, HALF SOUR, TRASHING HISTORY, and BEYOND BROKEN.
